Freebies Forum - Exchanges?

    Hi,

I was wondering where to post my thread about exchanging a logo for a link back to my site, and I was going to post it in the Freebies forum. Being a good DPer, I decided to check the rules to see if exchanges are allowed in the Freebies forum, and on this thread it says this :

And yet people post things like Digg/Stumble exchanges there anyway. So, before I post there, am I allowed to post this exchange I had in mind, or not?

I am trying to keep the number of infractions I get low.

    Thanks,

    Hecky

Yeah, that quote isn't actually the rules - that's a post by an ordinary member that was stickied because it gave good guidance. Judging by the nauseating increase in the number of Digg/Stumble exchanges cropping up in Freebies I don't think there's any infractions being given out for those. Exchange, by the very definition of the word, means that it isn't a Freebie.

However, that's by the by. In answer to your question I would just place your offer in the main BST forum - it is a trade by my reckoning.

Hmm, but I was planning to say that they can give a linkback to show appreciation if they liked it. Shame, the BST section wont have the same traffic that the Freebies forum.

I'll wait for some other opinions, but thanks CountryBoy :)

the BST forum is your best option as it is slower and the thread will remain in view for longer, just make a good headline to get the attention.

You could always try it in the link exchange forum, that's what it is right?
