Hi all today is a very bad day for both me and ebay I had fees to pay on my ebay so i entereed my credit card details on there site they took out payment everything was ok, a day later someone has taken £250 out of my account using ATM in New York i live in the UK On my online statedment there was a number 888-749-3229 i typed this in google and ebay came up So have ebay been doing fraudulent activity taking money out of my account by clonong my card as my bank said they entered your pin number to withdraw the money Today i get a call from ebay and very rude lady all she said was im calling from ebay can i have your address i said who are you, and she just said il write you a letter and hangup on me which was very rude What do you think about ebay and fraudulent activities? il keep you updated
#1 are you sure it was ebay? somehow i dont think they would use an ATM but i would report it to the uk police and your card company
There has been alot of new things happening in Ebay and I DO NOT like to have my credit card info sitting in someones database!! I started using a new auction which is new but I love them and they do not ask you for your credit card information!!! They have a secure link to pay your fees with your credit card, Pay Pal and other!!, and that's the way it should be!! I wish I could tell you who it is but I believe that DP would have a problem with that but I'm sure that you will run into them sooner or later!! Sorry about you getting hurt like that, I am sure that your credit card company will help out with that one!!
No i know whats happend here ebay miniumwage staff are riding on your card cancel it asap then prosocute for fraud im sure if you go to your bank they will nail the twat who has done this to you. as its lost them intrest ect
