Modern Cartoons - Bad for Children

I think you are correct, the parents are ultimately responsible but it still doesn't let the TV exec's off the hooks for putting so much garbage on TV...cartoon or otherwise.

I mean have you seen the trash that's on tv now? and I'm not talking about after 9pm either when the kids are supposed to be in bed.

 

The TV execs are only concerned about their bottom line. They show what the people watch. If people weren't watching it, they would stop showing it. If parents would take responsibility and make sure their kids weren't watching it, it would get taken off the air.

fred flinstone smoked cigarettes, top cat was all about stealing, tom and jerry tried to murder each other. I don't see how cartoons have gotten worse. maybe in quality if anything.

So correct. Cartoons haven't really gotten worse. If parents made sure their kids weren't watching, they'd go off the air.

 

Cartoons are time-wasters, but Pokemon is the absolute worst. It's sexual innuendos are offensive, and it encourages cockfighting.

 

You must be watching a different show or trying to find something out of it, wow..
