Yet at this point is there anyway to determine which of the white bars are gonna get some green?

And what do you expect to say? Maybe something happened maybe not. No one can say it for sure. Google is to big and some local maelstrom can occur sometimes.

No, only that they are candidates for the update. They might still wind up PR0 after everything is said and done.

Ok, so as in www.google.com, toolbarqueries.google.com also points to different dc's, whichever dns picks up first?

    Yes.

For instance, when I ping toolbarqueries.google.com, I get:
    209.85.163.99

But when I reverse dns that (using tracert), it resolves to:
    el-in-f99.google.com

Try pinging it and see what you get.

I just wish the link:site.com command would show the 60,000 links that webmaster tools shows. It's showing 990 with link: now :(

When I ping toolbarqueries.google.com I also get 209.85.163.99 but my tracert resolves to rc-in-f99.google.com

We should expect to see another set of backlinks before the big update, if you are correct.

Backlinks have rolled back and forth in the last day according to another post in this thread, but I see the same set. My theory that this is another canonicalization update combined with what you see tells me that they may have re-sampled.

I pointed out that the PR I have seen change seems to moved to more d/c's, suggesting that they are happy with the result and are ready to move forward with the update.

I thought for sure I had figured out a way to take everyone's mind off of the update! I guess y'all are just obsessed with it :D

One thing I have noticed is that although GWC has updated the backlinks section, in my opinion, they are incomplete and much less than last month on all my websites.

Does that mean there is still another BL export first?

You know, I pointed out that I thought the new backlinks for my site were low when I saw them... but since then I thought I figured out why.
Your post makes me wonder if everyone else's seem low as well...

Yes, personally I think that Google is still working on everyone's backlinks.
