Wordpress - Plugins for allowing/managing multiple contributors posting?

    Folks,

    I've searched and found several different plugins for allowing/securing/managing multiple contributor posting.

    That is, I'm looking for a way to allow others to make posts (not comments, but actual posts) on my blog .. but only after I approve them.

    Can anyone recommend methods/plugins to accomplish this? I've read where the new wordpress 2.3 version will have this capability built-in, but I don't normally upgrade for fear of breaking other plugins.

    I would appreciate any comments and recommendations.
