It is like 4-5 times more searched than Free Online Games
Overture is a better tool for checking search term traffic, I think. 'Free Games' and 'Free Online Games' are searched for equally according to Overture. SEO is mainly experience (skill) and a little luck in choosing a niche with a good difficulty to outcome ratio.
Good! Actually, you can get a lot more traffic ranking a bit higher. You're just about there. I'll call it a combination of luck, skill and quality.

Okay, I still don't see how that changes things? If the visits are still doubled and my main goal is to double my earnings, it doesn't matter if it's 4,000 a month compared to 40,000. Doubling what I make now with my current visitors from Google would still be the same. See what I'm saying?

You can still double the traffic. Then you can target terms like 'play free games', 'play free online games', 'free arcade game', 'free flash game' etc etc.
After I conquer Free Games, i'm going for Online Games. Brings in same as Free Games... i'm already on the top of page 5 for Online Games. So, shouldn't be hard. I may run out of websites to link with before I could get up there, hehe.
From experience it is harder to rank high in google for a 2 keyword phrase than it is for a 3 keyword phrase.
Well, you did not say how you went about doing it (what you did to get there). If you had, we could have decided whether it was the work you put in or luck, or a combination of both. As it is, I will say it was good work on your part because its very difficult to rank for those keywords without some excellent work. (unless its a shuffle and you got lucky).
