Breaking News Sanjay Dutt Given 6 years imprisonment!!

Illegal possession of weapons (AK 56) acquired from underworld/terrorists and and trying to destroy evidence.

 

I think he deserved it , but since the judgement has come in so late , It seems harsh

 

The judge gave him the minimum sentence that he could under the arms act. Sanjay should thank the judge.

The minimum sentence is five years under the arms act. As the judge had to sentence Kersi Adjania and Yusuf Nallwala to five years, he had no choice but to give Sanjay a six year sentence.

After all Sanjay's role was bigger, and he had got Kersi Adjania and Yusuf Nallwala in this mess.

 

I have sympathy for him but he has committed crime so he deserve it

 

Offcourse he deserve the punishment. but still am feeling sad for him.
I am fan of Sanjay since very beginning of his bollywood carrier.
Also I read that he was a drug addict too. See his starting movies like rocky and vidhaata and you will find a young lad getting crushed under drugs ( those red eyes nauseatic eyes).

His recent movies (especially munna bhai) were good.

I wonder what DP member Jaree might be thinking about this. He has Sanjay in his avatar.

 

sad news.. should he be in jail for 6 years or can he come out in bail and live out??

 

hes already spent 16 months in jail so 6 years - 16 months = his jail term

 

It is a sad news specially sanjay dutts fan's we will miss many good movies that were on their way with sanjay dutt starring.

 

Sad indeed... I have always been a big fan of Sanjay Dutt and i have also met him on few occasions. I must say that he is a very good person in real life too. While i dont say that the court made the wrong decision but i didnt like it. They still do not have enough proofs of his links with underworld but it was just an AK47 and i am very sure that there are countless people in India who posses AK47. Its just that he got caught and i hope he is bailed out soon.

Always been and Always will be big fan of him.

 

Guilty or not guilty thats a different issue. I am feeling bad about him. He has seen enough bad time. may God give Dutt family strength. The bail depends upon Supreme court and it may take upto three weeks for the hearing of case in SC.

After the verdict, their was very intersting conversation between Judge and Sanjay. Here it is.:

 

sorry to hear that it did happened. hopefully he bails out and supreme court clears him out. strange verdict--the person who sold the gun to him has been left out and the buyer convicted

Well that was very sad news but he deserved it but not for 6 Years. I am sure soon we would see Munna bhai back from the Jail.

 

They made an example out of him. Simple as that. Does he have any other avenues of appeals??
