Hi everyone I have been searching the web for work at home jobs. Seems like most of them are scams. I ran across Clickbank, and it seems legit. What are the basic steps I need to get started with ClickBank (after I have completed step 1, making an account, haha). What are the costs involved with ClickBank. Is it worth the time? If anybody can help me a bit, please add me at . Thanks guys Ben
Why don't you read the clickbank website and this forum first? It really isn't that difficult. 1. Search for product to promote. 2. Get hoplink (your affiliate link) 3. Get traffic to visit hoplink 4. Hope for sales
My best advice is to ditch Clickbank.... It sucks.... Have a look at this article Clickbank Marketplace and Unreasonable Policies paydotcom.com shows much better potential, plus they pay to Paypal as soon as a sale is confirmed
once register your clickbank account nickname, you are ready to earn up to 75% commission from all the products in the clickbank marketplace. choose products to promote. Since others have to get purchase those products through your links, you have to understand various promotional methods. that means you have to drive visitors ( traffic ) to your hoplinks. So, first research on "free traffic tips" All the best DownloadsOnline.org
Its very simple. Signing up with clickbank as a affiliate is Free Once you are signed up you can browse through the clickbank marketplace and look for a product or products that you would like to promote. When you find the product that you would like to promote ,simply insert your clickbank nickname in to where it say's "create hoplink" and you have your affiliate URL which you can use in your signature on forums or writing up ads for Google/Adwords or others ways of marketing.
lol I singed up for clickbank around a year a go and was messing around with affilite marketing for a while and eventualy forgot all about it but I received a check in the mail for over 500$ from clickbank a few days ago lol i guess I had my payment threshold at 500$ and the links i posted on websites etc did good.. it was quite a pleasant surpise lol
I think I will try to get back in to this.. I only tried it out for a week or 2 and had a few sales but then I learned I had to get 5 sales from people with atleast 3 different typs of credit cards so I ditched it.. is there anything else better than clickbank. I dont really like their products. Is there any like clickbank that has real products on it not just digital stuff. I think I could do good in this feild. I think I would like to make my own website but optimizing it is hard work and im not very good at it.. you need to get too many links for a decent PR but maby I just chose bad keywords.
If you have a website that gets decent traffic, that might like a product from the Clickbank marketplace, place a few of your hop links in the website content and push some traffic through your hoplinks. If you don't have a website, you will have to advertise and you'll probably (certainly) lose money... so don't bother unless you have a website, are great at making PPC ads, or have money to burn.
I would suggest Commission Junction for people who dont like Clickbank. But for beginners Clickbank is a great place. You dont even need a website to join Clickbank. And if you are a genuine affiliate, then sale from 3 different cards are not at all a problem. May be you will have a wait for few days. The rule is just for first check and not for all payments.
you can also try clickbooth, they have good trial offers that pay high commissions. sometimes you can find a $4 to $9 offer that pays out $22-$38 commission. think about it...the customer only has to shell out $4 to $9, but you get a commission 4 x that amount. any time you can find those, your sales conversions will be higher because the price point is so low for the customer. Clickbank is good, although it sucks for a newbie. One of their policies requires you to have atleast 5 sales throguh credit cards, and two of them from master card or visa, in order to get paid. Read the page Bryce posted above. If you're ready to dedicate some time, and wait for results - you can go ahead. However, do remember to cloak your link before promoting. Link Hijacking is dominant off late.
I've used clickbank and I've used clickbooth, none of them got me anything. On the other hand, I find amazon working quite great for me, though the commissions are pathetic
Making money from Clickbank is not as easy as you think. I mean getting traffic is one thing, converting them is another. If you promote someone elses product, make sure you are happy with the sales page. Ask yourself if you would be pursuaded to buy. I have used Adwords to send direct to affiliates page and also through my own landing page. It has not been profitable for me yet, although I am convinced with more time and effort it could work out. I also use tradedoubler, CJ is a pain if you don't make a sale they charge you. Jim
Don't start with clickbank. Even though they are by far the most comfortable affiliate service - they have many many problems! Too many ghost sales on google and credit card transactions not processed. You can lose a lot of money trying to promote clickbank companies
yeah, I run a very active forum and I can't tell you how muchtime I spent deleting spammer hoplinks. Now I just censor ClickBank links... Again, before you think about using clickbank *MAKE SURE* to read this article about their policies... Clickbank Marketplace and Unreasonable Policies
CB is good. You really can make good money with it. Like anything and everything, nobody or no ebook is going to give you the "secret". It takes WORK, determination, and time... lots of time. Not just your working time either, but actual time to pass too. If I were you, I'd look up about Bum Marketing- which continues to work for me time after time after time with CB. Also, if you use Wordpress, you should check out this website about how to easily make wordpress landing pages: http://www.uglytheme.com/wordpress-and-usability/5-steps-to-make-a-great-wordpress-sales-page/ And then after that, look at this too: http://tropicalseo.com/ -Brad
