Are you the owner of Bucks for Banners? Your signature makes it sound like it.

I joined last month and i got paid about 35 pounds...first time 15 and the next time 20...But only 2 sites are running their banner. so I am not sure...why i got paid 'extra'. And the money actually comes from another company.

I think It has a mother company...they are just an affiliate of some sort. and probably they are earning more...than what they are giving you.

So if you signup with the mother site...you can earn even more....

But the funny thing is...why they are giving out money so 'freely'. 5 Pound is quite alot considering the number of publishers they are accepting. And they are only promoting 1 or 2 site!

I don't even understand their acceptance policy...they accepted a totally unrelated site of mine..and didn't accept the one which is more related to their advertiser. They aren't looking at traffic....nor PR (i have a PR 0 site which has been accepted and a PR 3 which has been rejected).

So what is the point of the banner? Whats their benefit?

Well your signature does say "Got site? I'll pay £5 p/m if u show my ads" and link to this thread. That suggests you're paying £5p/m to display your ads.

BlindCat says Bucks for Banners sounds like an affiliate and has a "mother company", so that makes me think so too.

I'm not having a go at you, it's just confusing me.

No worries my fren. Siggy is just for fishing attention. Well everyone know how limited number of character we can put so I'll try to put the best catchy siggy over there. That's how most ppl do marketing over here. Otherwise you wont even notice it rite? Hehehe..

Yup, they are just a proxy for another advertiser. To me, as long as they pay you the cash then its good enough. You can opt for the mother company if you feel you can earn higher for yourself. £5 seem like high amount for some people but for some advertisers thats not really a big problem. I also felt like that too when I first started but along the way I finally realize what their marketing plan is. On long term relationship, both publisher and advertiser will gain benefit from this.

If you are approved by them, your cash bonus will be put in queue for the next payment. Last time for me, it take around 30 days for me to received my bonus.

    Hope thats clear everything.

    Cheers!

I have no idea who is their mother company. Only bucks4banner admin can answer you. Maybe you could send them an email.

    Cheers!

Hehe.. nice one ;).. Anyway, back to the real topic.

Here are more info on the status on whether they are paying or not. I've attached my payment history and I'll be as transparent as I can be.

Jul. 31, 2007 Payment From The AdNetwork Completed Details £40.00 GBP
Jul. 9, 2007 Payment From The AdNetwork Completed Details £5.00 GBP
Jun. 28, 2007 Payment From The AdNetwork Completed Details £40.00 GBP
Jun. 4, 2007 Payment From The AdNetwork Completed Details £40.00 GBP
Jun. 4, 2007 Payment From The AdNetwork Completed Details £5.00 GBP
May 23, 2007 Payment From The AdNetwork Completed Details £65.67 GBP

If you look carefully, they will arrange 2 different sessions of payment for every month. Between Jun to Aug you can see the payment date is keep on being extended for a few days in every month. If my theory is correct, the next payment should be received around 11 days after the payment session that took place at end of the month which is 12th August for this month... (Just a prediction. Don't flame me if it ain't happening coz I'm not their boss.. )

For those who still haven't received a reply please do give them some break. Technically, you'll only slowing them down with all the emails. Think of all the time needed for them to write and reply all those email individually rather than working on clearing all of your payments in the queue list. I'm not saying that you shouldn't email them, but try to give them some space for the reply. Also, please avoid asking for question that is already in FAQ. They'll most probably wont answer question that is already in their FAQ.

    Cheers!

If you have a blog, they don't accept them unless you are lucky. ;)

The last one was my main blog that is on a subdomain and up since Feb 07. That's the one in my feed above.

I think you a have better chance with a regular site that is open for some time.

I will try with the domain(www.i2mfan.com) of the blog. The site is more than a year. I hope it works this time. :D

You might have problems if your banners don't make money? They'll lose money right?

There is no target of sales once you put up the banner. The agreement is only you need to show the banner. Who care if they make money or not as long as they pay us... :)

Lolz.. good luck on your next attempt. Dont forget to put the banner on different url this time okay.. Hehehe..

I just received email from them so just wish to share with you guys. Its quite an important note so please pay extra attention. For those who is already accepted into the program you'll need to make a small changes on your affiliate links. Also, please refrain from mentioning the new site with bucks4banners as there are now a totally different private white label site.

Here's the official email from them.

    Cheers!
    Sha

ps/ I've send them an email asking for any changes in term of payment for new sign up, referral bonus and monthly payment. I've also whether there will be any changes too on banner code. Will update you guys once I receive reply from them, so stay tune.. :)

Can I assumed that it does not touch the .NET site that pays more and only the .com?

My regular site was accepted. It's not a blog.
