MediaWhiz has issued a press release on their blog. It's dated August 1st but I didn't see it until now. This is a good sign. I hope the problems all get sorted out soon. I miss the pre-July 10th AustionAds.
Ok, so if I am reading all of this right, MediaWhiz was always involved, so really, it might be unfair to say that Shoe is responsible for downtimes and other issues depending upon where the responsibilities lay. Same deal as before, I guess it's wait and see time. I've had emails go without response at TLA, it would be no shock to me if they were handling the support at AA. So many of us (except Joeychgo who has a direct line of communication other publishers and affiliates can only dream of for whatever reason) can't get an answer to the most basic query. A lot of work to be done before publishers can feel that their clicks, earnings etc are accurate, and that running the ads won't break their sites. And that's just the technology side, not the goodwill that the program had built up prior to 7/10.
There is finally news on the AA blog also (dated Aug. 3rd): Nothing on reporting/tracking issues yet.
I wonder if the new design will include the Media Whiz logo at all..or if they will just not bother officially telling us they were sold? I do hope for the best though, so I can actually get around to adding their ads on the rest of my sites.
It was mentioned somewhere, perhaps in the article on techcrunch about the sale, that Media Whiz had a minority stake in AuctionAds from the beginning.
