I agree with webmasterjason, gift her MP3, and because she like write songs...gift her keyboard... start to play melody. Don't look foolish in your first kiss... Learn how celebrities kissing
An MP3 player might be nice! I'll look into that. I can't really spend anything more than $25-$30 though, but I'll see what I can do. I'm a poor college student after all. Thanks for the suggestion.
Same here, but you get can a budget MP3 player that she will enjoy on the cheap, check out the standard electronics websites newegg, buy, etc and you should be able to find something nice and cheap, not to mention your local walmart even though I am pretty sure it is the source of all evil the deals are just to good =/
Haha, yes probably. I won't have enough time to get something off the internet though, it won't get here in time. I'm also a little worried that getting her something this 'fancy' is overstepping my boundaries a bit, I'm still debating between the two. I'm going out tonight to see what I can find. Thanks for your help!
There are many great mystery books for girls her age. Probably the best known for girls are from the Nancy Drew series. As kids we devoured Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Dana Girls, Judy Bolton series of books. Nancy Drew series and Hardy Boys are still available.
Thanks for the tip! Makes me wonder if they're still 'in' for kids ... then again the new Nancy Drew movie just came out, so I'll look into it.
My daughter is 7 and she loves crafts. I think one of the best presents she's ever gotten was a small case full of pens, colored paper, glue, pencils, glitter, etc. I think the case a was a tackle box for fishing. But it was great for this use too.
At that age girls can be pretty picky, the MP3 idea is something fairly safe but I am sure if you went with something along her current interests it would be difficult to go wrong. Best of luck let us know how it works out.
