Hello everyone, I am almost done with my personal portfolio website where I have showcased all of my work. Please visit my website at www.smartpixels.net and give me feedbacks. I had to do the coding of my website and since I am not very good in coding so I just made my website very very simple on plain white background, but i hope it is not giving a bad or negative impression. Site loads very slowly for me and some of your images time out/don't load. Are you on a shared server? It might have some load issues...
Well, I am new to the web hosting thing so I don't know that I am using a shared server or what but I will ask my friend who provided me the hosting that why my site is opening slow on your computer. Dont know what to say...Design is quite nice but I dont like there is a lot white color. 98% od whole site is white color. Maybe that`s not good but who cares. If you have profit from your site then who cares design But, other way, you must have nice design to get profit. This is strange a bit?

Actually I can design a very nice website but the problem is that I can't convert it into html correctly I did all the coding (tables, dreamweaver...etc) on my own, so I just made my site simple. Now my site is up and running, I will add more and more things there to make it look more good and appealing
Looks simple and good. Got some style to it... I think if you do some minor changes, you are fine. However, would be nice to hire or ask somebody to fix English on your website.

The website is easy to navigate and not too overloaded with information. I like the template section, though i think there should be a fullscreen view available. People want to see what they are getting before parting with cash.
Initial load was very quick and nicely done layouts. No confusion for the readers as information is spread across various pages. I like it

For the full screen template, I didn't put full screen preview because i thought if i show the full screen preview then other designers can easily copy my designs and start selling them. If you look at templatemonster.com they also don't show the full screen snapshot. Thank you very much. I really didn't expect such a wonderful comments because i am new to this html and dreamweaver thing and i was expecting that everyone will just say that the site is not good because of a lot of white space but i tried to use white space nicely and tried to make the navigation easy to understand. I am so much happy that i did a good job
Site loaded pretty quick for me so no problems there. Not too sure about the Pink and as others have said there's a lot of white backgroud. Would it be worth experimenting with different background shades or perhaps a border. Terry
Hi, Your site projects a rather feminine feel with the pink color and the cursive fonts which are rather subtle to the view. If you are going to monetize your site for female products such as beauty, or skin care or for dating and love topics, the feel is suitable. For a design company, I would suggest you have larger bolder fonts for the titles to project a more dynamic and vibrant feel rather than the feminine feel. The insertion of the main header should be taken with more serious consideration, because each image you put into your website must be for a purpose. The header is one of the most important part of your website and you should not waste the opportunity to use the header to project your purpose, or objective for your website. This is promotion 101, the basics of website promotion. Here on your website, u have put in an image of what appears to be a path through some woods. This image project a picture of calmness, and the first thing a person visiting your site would think your website is something on nature, or a walk through the misty garden, or perhaps a poetry site. It does not tell me anything about your site being a designer's site on design or on templates etc. Hope this frank sharing is useful to you.
I like the site, the pink gives it a nice feel but not too strong, which keeps the male side. The buttons at the top are nice however would it look better for the other buttons that on hover they look like the home one? Other than that nice layout.
Thank you very much for your time and comments. I can understand your points and you are absolutely correct. Actually the problem is that I am very New to HTML, very new to Dreamweaver. I have never converted any web templates to html before and this is my first website I converted into html thats why i put the white background to avoid difficulties. I visited this site http://www.rikcatindustries.com/ and found that I can make something like this. That website has big fonts and also giving a look like it is a male's website, but mine is looking like a feminine site. In a few days I will start working on the enhancement of my website, may be i will give it a very new look. "The Header Image" I had nothing in my mind for that position so I just put that image there and thought that whenever I will have to announce something I will put a banner on that position. Hope I will be able to come up with more good design Everyone is notifying me the same thing ( Pink Color ) I was really stupid that I choose that feminine color In the next update of my website I will put the hover buttons there.
The font used in the paragraphs looks nice but I don't think it is very readable, well not on a mac anyway.
