Romantic Things Done for your Partners

My Girlfriends gone on holiday for 2 weeks and just trying to think of some romantic things to do when she gets back to show her how much i've missed her, we've been together 7 months.

But to the point, what romantic things have you done for your partners??

Get roses for sure... take her out to dinner, and get her some sort of jewelry, whatever she likes... put the jewelry in the roses, give it to her after dinner while you guys are alone

 

toe licking and candles

 

Cook her dinner and maybe give her a massage afterwards.

 

Depends on if she is into those kinds of things

Much has been written about people’s “love languages”. Well, my wife’s primary one is acts of service. Doing thoughtful things for her is, to her, far more romantic than mere words.

Case in point: After 35 years of marriage to me, she still singles out what to her was the most romantic thing I ever did for her. It was a snowy day in Anchorage, Alaska. I was at work, she was home snowed in. Without her knowledge, I left the office and drove home. There I ran my 4-wheel-drive pickup truck up and down the driveway enough times to flatten the snow so that she could get out with her car. Then I drove back to work. That surprise “act of service” touched her heart so deeply that she still brings it up today, some 20 years later.

So ... if your wife's or girlfiend’s love language is “acts of service”, focus your romantic efforts on coming up with kind, thoughtful acts that show you are thinking of her.

(BTW, the other four "love languages" are considered to be: verbal affirmation ... touch ... quality time ... gifts.) Almost every man or woman has one or two of them that speaks "love" most to him or her.

 

Awwww!! Well, I think you should have the place all cleaned up and have a candlelit dinner ready for her when she comes back. Have rose petals scattered around on the floor and play her fave slow song.

 

All of the above!! But before she sees any of this, you have to blindfold her with a strip of satin or silk (this satin tie can also come in useful later on if you are lucky ). Then start with the rose petals on the floor like onlineworkmom suggested, but then you gotta make a trail of petals leading to the bathroom. Then in the bathroom you have a bath ready with lots more rose petals in the water. And dozens of candles all around the room... And a bottle of your favorite wine. And more rose petals and candles in the bedroom...

 

Ok, hows this for romance,

Me and my Gf started going out on 1/1/07 and watched new years fireworks in london on the tv at my house,

So i've just booked tickets to go ice skating at 9pm on New Years Eve at The Tower of London for an hour, after this is done we can stand by the river and watch the fireworks at midnight, perfect 1 year anniversary?

 

A dinner in a fancy hotel restaurant as well as a dozen roses.

When she gets back wrap you arms around her give her a lenthy kiss and say i really missed you!

then ask if hse had a nice time and if she would think of going on holiday with u sometime!

Then the iteams come in say hey i got somethings "its not much" so she thinks properly a bracelet

Then propose to her man i can feel the love her close her like i close a sale!



t&c if you actally use my advice please be aware i am not so good with women i broke up with a girlfreind of 11 months yesterday becuase i neglected her. so i hold no responsabilty of break ups ect.

 

I'm only 18 n a half and shes 17, not too sure about marriage yet.

 

Poem VS Flowers. Poem shows that you have actually sat down thinking about your girl and took your time to do something for her. Flowers are good... everyone loves flowers... everyone gives each other flowers...

On this note i suggest you do something original. Something that she does not expect. Some people think that the more money they spend on a certain present or event the more romantic its is going to be... "This is how much i love you!". This is true if you are going out with a slag Think "do" rather than "buy".

The most romantic things i have done? I blew up our picture to just under 5 x 8m with the help of my artist mate and then painted this wall opposite her bedroom's window. We spent the whole night painting. She saw it when she woke up in the morning and opened her curtains. I almost got done for graffiti though i was ordered to go paint it white again after a few weeks or so when they tracked me down. lol it was not hard with my face on that wall.

I like doing crazy, spontaneous things like that. All i need is a girlfriend now.
