I have been a member of this community since April under the username "xekko". I was recently hacked and many of my "internet" things were stolen from me.

    so far:
    My RapidShare.COM account
    My digital point account: XEKKO
    My email account: danielmarchant476@gmail.com

I don't think there is much I can do but can anyone give me some advice on what to do?

People like this make me sick :(

Contact a moderator and request them to ban your previous account so it does not get used for some illegal or unethical activities

Oooh dear. So someone else is using your other account? Or you just forgot the password and have made a duplicate? That's a problem either way. Hope he doesn't get your PayPal too!

I don't think there's anything you can do.... At least for DP why don't you create a new account?

He already has - the account he used for the OP. Making a second account is against the rules, as well you should know, so probably not a good idea to make another.

I had no choice though. I'm sure making a new account is not breaking the rules in my situation...or is it?

Quickly reset the password , if it's under your email you should be able to do that still.

If he actually gets in trouble for making a second account because his other account was compromised... that would just be dumb in my opinion. What they should do is help him retrieve his previous one and close the one he just opened hoping to get the problem resolved. Hopefully someone can. :)

Making a new account in these situations isn't a problem. What isn't allowed is to have various accounts and create a new account every time he visits DP. I'm sire everyone will understand his situation.

I wouldn't bet on that personally. From what I've seen there's a very strict interpretation and obeyance of the rules when it comes to second accounts. Common sense doesn't feature.

Contact the MOD immediately and tell them to ban your previous account so that your previous account is not being used for misuse to harm dp!

The bank doesn't own your wallet, and they have NOTHING to do with it... if you lost your bank card, they would cut the other one off and give you a new one, think about what you say before you post it...

No need for an idiotic statement in this situation... give the guy a break, he just got hacked, which is never a good thing because there could be some serious implications here, instead of being a prick, why not offer some help and support?

Some quick advice for you, change all passwords now, and use a mixture of numbers and letters... try that for starters and contact the companies that run your e-mai, etc. and see if there is anything at all they can do to help you out... but definately change your passwords to everything you still have control over...
