How all of you are able to put a link at the end of your post in this forum?

I am not able to figure out how you are able to put a link at the bottom of your post. Is putting a link in signature not a spam? Or tell me how I should put my own blog url as a signature at the bottom of my posts?

 

I guess i'll help this dude, from one peon to another...go to your User CP found at the top of the page and in there you'll find a link that says Edit Signature. That's where you put it.

 

You will need more posts first though.

 

if your just new in the forum you cant have sig but after 10 posts and 7 days of being a member you can add your sig at your USER CP...

 

The site puts a number of posts minimum and/or 7 day wait probably because they dont want hit and run links. We have to prove that we are here for more than just getting hits on our sites which weeds out the lazy people that just want to put 1 post and hope to get a few hits out of it.

 

you need to have fix no. of posts to put the signature as url

 

30 posts and a member of the forum for 7 days

 

you are allowed to use signature for your posts.

if you are over 30 posts and member of the forum at last 7 days, you will be able to use signature

 

finally the mystery is solved...

and I was scratching my head for a while now.

 

"I have 10 posts, but my signature still does not work."

Is it 30 or 10? Is the FAQ not been updated?

Thank you all for your response. I have not yet done many posts. I didn't know the value of posting all these days.
I have seen a member here able to put signature even though he has only 25 posts.

 

Ok then add some usefull content to other posts and get your sig up and running

 

The previous post was my 20th post and I thought after this I may see my signature. But it happened exactly like that.

So I see that after 20 posts and 7 days of being a member one can get his signature to work.

and then there's this reputation thing..

i just got mine actually activated after 10 days, 35 posts with 18 reputation..

from when i joijned it was 10 posts. not too sure if this has increase to 30posts. anyhow, you are only a few away.

When ready, from any page on DP click your Private Messages link in the top right and then click edit signature in the top left.

 

it was 30 posts for me.

 

How do I find the xml code of my blogger blog feed? What is the use of putting a blog feed here? Does it also make each post of our blog to get a credit in terms of PR. Then it is a wonderful feature.
