See i had a lotta 2.0 referrals and i asked frends to register an all i won`t deny tat but how come google come up and say invalid clicks or impressions when the money was made from referrals and single ip did not do repetitive clicks what should be my plan of action now i sent google all details of my visitors anyone betting on me to get my account back? also when i apply for a new account do google cross check banned addresses or just names?
If your banned stay banned. Making a new account is stupid, you broke the rules so just accept what you cant change and move on. This is just a hard lesson learned. It serves you right considering you asked friends to click referral links. I have no sympathy for you.
If you have traffic logs to prove your point, send them a very earnest email stating your problem in a good manner, I'm sure they'll get back to you.
I AM EXTREMELY SORRY FOR U. Don't ask your friends. You'll be banned. Just try to appeal to get approved. But I heard, it is really IMPOSSIBLE...
How do you know that? I don't think they officially state what the check, but if they've banned someone from a specific address before, it is definitely going to raise a flag if another person registers from that same address.
I'm also banned from Google for a stupid reason. Regardless, don't even bother with an appeal. I tried to appeal mine and even stated that I wouldn't run the Adsense on that same website that caused my account to recieve the ban, they just sent me an automated reply about how I would be staying banned. On the upside, this makes me feel more comfortable about working with them in Adwords knowing that at least the vast majority of the clicks I pay for are legitimate people interested in my products.
If you got banned just accept it and move on. You brought this on yourself so accept what you can not change.
Well 1> I Know the same IP did not click twice bcoz i asked different ppl to register at those sites via yahoo messenger those were 2.0 dating referrals. 2>I appealed today with all the stats and even my tracker username and password sent to google. 3>do referrals also have to be content specific?like i put dating referrals on windows tips site but if they wanted to ban shudnt they like ban after 50 $ i made 205 and then they banned which is strange 4>any indian publishers want to collaborate because i have already had a backup adsense account(we own two houses).
HOW in the hell could google find if i asked my friends on yahoo messenger Is google tracking yahoo im too?
Dude, Google is tracking everything. Who knows may be the keyboard you used to type the text in this thread is actually taking your finger prints. LOL On a more serious note, all of your friends lives near your house or let's say in your city. Don't they? Understood? If not, I can make a detailed post.
nope the "friends" were temporary ones from mostly U.S,Canada and UK i only had 3 referrals from my hometown and i live in india Don`t start with the Indian jokes or flame the thread now.
You cannot ask others to signup in this way, just think about the basic, why google pays for just referring others, because of some actions to be made by those people to benefit google... In your scenario it seems, you asked people only to signup and your friends done that and no action after that from those referrals for google, they checks every referral, found no use of them and reviewed your account and got banned...
Usually clicks from IM results as direct traffic, how unusual do you think it would be having 50 direct traffics coming to your site and all of them to result in sign ups, a 100% ratio huh. That could be the reason, even tho, those friends you sent there maybe did like the sites where they signed up and they might use those sites now...even tho, you got banned, and this means, google might continue earning from them (yeah, not actually sure but only the thought of that would make you feel sick). Sorry to hear you got banned, tho you can find loads of adult affiliate programs which could bring you even more than just $200 that you earned with Google. Direct affiliates pay more in some cases and give you more options, visible and attractive banner that would invite your visitors to click on them and maybe signup.
You tried to game the system and got caught. Accept the consequences. You deserved to be banned and I applaud Google for doing so. It's not hard to determine that someone with a conversion rate near 100% is scamming the system...
