Good PR makes it easier to trade links with other sites and it makes it easier to sell links for more money. Also, it helps some with your SERPS.

 

Good PR = More Traffic from Google = More Money

 

If you have a pr7 or 8 page you can make a few k of money from it.

 

Yeah, people are horny for money... more money. And they will sell every PR which they get immediately.

 

I never believed in "PR gets traffic" but recently I've been the writer for a blog with a PR6 about gadgets. The pages were indexed about 4-6 hours after writing the articles and the serp was not on the index page but on the article page and traffic started to come right away. I was amazed, because I wasn't sure a PR6 is so powerful !

Well...everybody on here at least. I know a rather good PR6 site, who takes great pleasure in going around "Money Making Bloggers" sites (usually on posts that say "I've made $40 this month from Adsense") and says "I could make more in a day than you make in a month, and I choose not to".

I have a PR 6 blog but am not fascinated by PR at all. Funny but true, however i love that Green bar on TOP. Sometimes it shows that your blog is a trusted resource.

Neverthless, being a PR 6 might help in indexing since my articles are indexed within 1 hr or so and other sites typically see that site having higher Pr is more reliable source so they love to link to me

I do have discussion/arguements about monetizing, but she blogs because she loves to, rather than for the cash.

You raise your prices when your PR goes up? What about if it goes down? Do you refund everyone then?

 

PR gives a reputation to the site.

 

Lexiseek, there is no directory that will refund your money and they wont charge you more if the page rank will be higher.

Although, is more important the page rank of the page your website will be listen on not the homepage page rank.

When I submit to directories, I always check the page rank of the page where my sites will go.

 

Whatever people say, PR = more advertising revenue. The higher the PR the more you can charge in sidebar links, in post links (for blogs) and a higher figure when selling the blog. So predictably I want high PR to make more money (duh!).

 

I can see that the myth is still alive

 

To rank good on GOOGLE its necessary to have High PR back links. PR is very important parameter, while selecting a text link.
Smart peoples like “Patrick Gavin” Earns $20000+ month by selling high PR links.

But I still believe if your site offers Quality and useful content you will get High PR back links naturally.
