Hope you are OK. Getting hit on the face by a baseball or cricket ball at full pelt can be extrmely painful and career threatening.

On another note, Sid Vicious use to be a great softball player. In fact, he sometimes did not turn up for wrestling shows to sneak a game of softball.

Thank you. I wasn't planning on making a career out of softball, so there is no threat to my career!
That's the nice thing about working from home and being self employed! All of these hospital stays and trips to the doctor and I didn't even miss a beat at work! :D

I was hoping the doctor would give me a Phantom of the Opera mask to wear while it was healing! Then I could be just like Bill Laimbeer!

I know that someone is going to red repp me for bumping up an old thread, but I thought I'd give everyone an update about what's going on now...

There is still something wrong with my jaw because of the injury. It's been 6 weeks since the injury and 5 weeks since my surgery, but I still do not have full range of motion in my jaw. They thought it would heal on it's own, but it's not getting better. I have to go tomorrow for another CT scan and I have to start physical therapy for my jaw.

    that bites! :(

did they even give you any indication to the recoup time as far as that goes?

so it should have been relatively back to normal by now

    sorry to hear that!!

Only a true assclown would give you rep. 'looks at Tim :D'

Some injuries take a long time before they feel 100%, sometimes it's even mental. I've had injuries such as my eye I got a chunk of metal in, it took a couple of years before it stopped bothering me!

Hopefully you'll be better soon ;)
