I know a two people that have used internet dating sites. One found his now wife that way. The second said that he backed out after looking at the monthly fees. I think both found that the majority of people make themselves out to be much better than they really are in every way. Both financially, physically, etc. However, people use it successfully everyday. So it might be worth a shot.
