today i received a comment and it says this: THIS BLOG IS COMMITTING COPRIGHT THEFT. WE WILL TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS TO PROTECT OUR LEGITIMATE INTERESTS. first of all i never used their stories.i put stories ffrom a different site whish is a big and serious site. they let me to use their stories(about celebrity news). is this a problem for me i just closed the blog for the world
Maybe the big and serious site also stole someone's copyrighted work, but you're just a slightly easier target. Did they leave any contact details? If not I wouldn't be too concerned. Also their poor grasp of spelling suggests they might not be official.
the blog is not important but i looked at their sites. you become a member of the site and they send you celebrity news 3 times a day. first i'm not the member of their site second ok i put stories from a site but that site let me use the stories they leave only the name of the site..and yes they are really also big site
So the person who let you use these stories - were they within their rights to do that? Maybe the person who let you use the stories wasn't actually meant to.
so what do i have to do i just looked at my adsense account and i only earned 30 dollsar in the past 5 months.. perhaps better to close my other blogs make much more money
Well, if you've got some proof that you're allowed to use material from the big and serious site I would forward them a copy. That should shut them up, or at least get them to moderate their tone.
yes i also think that but i have ne proof..so i mailed them again(that big and serious site) and waiting for their answers saying that they let me use their content and yes if i can prove it i will write that site say ''how can you say a word like thief?i will do what it has to be done
Well, that was a mistake - you should have made sure you had some proof and kept a copy of it just incase. Sounds to me as if they might have changed their mind about you using their content.
A good thing to do would have being to have re-written the content as you go it making it completly unique. That way the big company would provide you with the articles and you would spend 10-15 minutes re-writing each article.
you shouldn't be using someone else's material without some sort of proof that you have their permission, and then when you do have it, make sure you keep a copy as proof. I'm curious how you got the go-ahead to use it and somehow don't have any proof of it anyway - a nod and a wink don't cut the ice for standards of proof.
I seriously wouldnt worry about it at all. Would someone with a legitimate issue with your site post something like that on your blog, or would they send you the documentation from their lawyers - IE a cease and disist or copywrite infirngment notice
Were you linking to the authority site or to any other site you were taking all the contents from? If not, you might want to add links to the original sources. That should solve the problem.
If indeed you have permission to use all content on your website, you have nothing to worry about. But if you are taking content from another website without permission, you are violating copyright law. If the commenter is wrong, just remove the comment. He probably didn't know you had permission to use the content.
Check CopyScape to see if your content matches someone else's. Did they post an email address so you can communicate with them? If needed, Jeffrey Cohen of Internet Litigators offers a great membership plan
i will not remove anything from my blog..today i saw alot of blogs and sites like me..they still update everyday..
