I have seen people selling an average directory for $2K and today it's real revolution in the directories business, we are buying a link for $2K :)

I strongly hope you will get real value of your money, as Chris is well reputed promoting his directories, specially bigweblinks is no doubt very strong and high traffic bidding directory. Good Luck!

$1 may not be enough to outbid an0n.

My estimate is that you may need another $500-$1000 to stay on the top for more than a week. :p.

The minimum bid for bigweblinks.com is $49.90 and not $40 as mentioned in your post.

But the quality of the directory is stronger and it's financially stable so therefore it's "safer" in a way. Buying directories: you need to maintain it's PR, etc, etc :p I'll stop being bias now :p just my 2 cents :)
