I was analyzing a few days ago some website and I was shocked to see the IBP websites (Internet Business Promoter) websites penalized by Google. NO pagerank!!! PR0 - www.axandra.com PR0 - www.ibusinesspromoter.com Still some localized version have a normal PR. After that I was thinking let's check also WebCeo. Surprise!!! No pagerank either. PRO - www.webceo.com
I have seen some sites that ranked well now have no rank at all. Not sure if they did something wrong but no rank after a good one would make you wonder why.
Too many bad uses from that softwares. Google is beggining to penalize hard everyone who tries to spam the index. many spammers used that software to spam google (to make good seo optimized spam pages).
purely this would be lackof backlinks and nothing more. Google dosent penalize for the use of such programs. I have a site which sells nothing more than ibp 9 it has pr of 3 and prdicted pr of 6. It is also is # 1 on google for at least 6 keywords and 3 are are in a very competetive market.
Is not the missing links. The problem is not there for sure. Both sites are penalized I will try to find out why. Both had I think a great PR before this penalization. Additional the www.text-link-ads.com does not come up in the search results for normal query like: text link ads ( as suggested by Krumel in seopedia.ro ). It is clear a Google move.
if google punish the tla web site, i can understand it but there is no reason google to punish this programs. it does not break any of the google rules
whow...this is odd. The opinions differ regarding those programs...but i myself use them and i think they're doing a GREAT job. There is no logic in hell why google would penalize those pages. I have seen sites selling "SEO reports" and those reports are literally worthless, just giving some general advice which a 5 year old knows already...and IBP does very good and extensive reports. Makes you wonder whether they would start to penalize other SEO companies too....because many SEO companies use their own scripts for reports and optimization....so....would they penalize THOSE sites too ? No sense at all IMHO.....and "many spammers use those program..." makes no sense either....this can not be that companies' fault and would NOT make their programs and advice less useful.
You are totally right on this. Is still a fact, both are penalized. And also the text-ads-links which has a PR7 but no results in search engines.
hm.... as I remember IBP sites had some PR not long ago. Seems to be penalized. As for WebCEO - I remember the time when their PR dropped to 0 and it was really ling time ago. I think it was the time when WebPosition appeared as forbidden seo software in Google webmaster guide. It seems that Google was in bad mood that day and forget to cross webceo.com out of penalized list Other WebCEO sites, like http://www.websiteceo.com are all right, while all domains of IBP are banned. Well, probably IBP has done something bad recently
i would say that this has to do with the backlink and PR update from google. give it 2 weeks and then check the sites again. i'm sure google wouldn't ban them because they sell seo software.
exactly. I noticed some changes in pr for some highly rank websites but I'm sure the didn't ban them.
I think that it might be the automatic site submission program that they use. Since IBP uses the Google API to do many of their functions, I bet Google is upset that there is such a high overhead (use) from these functions as it compairs one site to google's top 10. To bad, IBP is a good SEO tool for the beginner. It shows one what they are doing wrong and shows one how to fix it. Or could it be another bug in the Google tool bar?
I dont believe google penalizes for software usage unless IPB seriously is doing something to cheat google.
