Even if Google is offering PR service for free YOU people dont stop complaining when you get less PR though the real fact is your website is not worth the PR.
The fact is when you are making money from your PAID directories cant you shell out some small bugs for using a tool?
Stop being a leecher or else dont complain

Is this wise? Does it still make sense? The value of PR has been bent all out of shape. So much so that Google is taking steps to pop the bubble.

if they charge you for using PR,then they will go bust!

There are huge differences between Google's PR and Seomoz

Google's PR relies on it's own data where as PS relies on others data

If you calculate some thing basis on others data then you will be also wrong!

that's why I say PS is unreliable.

and also PR is also not a so good tool to judge a real quality of a site

    It is simply a parameter

I am not giving leecher or complaining, it's just my view. There is lot of difference between Google's PR and Seomoz .

People are only making good money through paid directories but only when there are having good Google PR not Seomoz PS

There has been a change in the strongest directories list.

I have deleted the "2nd page" of the list - the list of directories with a page strength less than 5.

The idea behind the list was to find and recognize the quality directories out there, rather than having a comprehensive list of all directories.

As well, now that the list is a lot shorter, I'll also be able to update it much more regularly, making the list a lot more useful.

    Wise decision!

Thanks for that Jeff and I think this will motivate directory owners to work harder on their sites.

Gutted. For the few days i was in the PS 3.5 section i got 3 hits from you Jeff.

I guess when my PR increases in this update my PS will do too. So then i can sit on your first page :D

A directory should not be on the judged basis of PR or PS as they are not very reliable.

Those directories would have gained PR and SE Referrals and PS too because of that. and It will be no surprise if I see some of them(you deleted in your directory) in the strongest directory list also.

Good decision. I was actually going to suggest you that, because, after all, the list is called "strongest directories".

And also if you could update www.directorydream.com, it is now PS6.

    http://www.seomoz.org/page-strength/www.directorydream.com

    Thanks :)

    Nice decision :)
A high quality list would be great than all the directories including lesser PS.

Even though I lost my link in that list (I was on Page 2), I respect your decision and I think it was right one.

That list was getting too long and now it will be a better reference for people seeking "quality directories"

    Somehow, I am stuck on PS4 :(
May be this PR update will bring any change in it. (Hope so) :)
