I don't reccomend Dells as their support suck and their products aren't built that great. Macs are pretty good. Toshibas or HP are decent ones that can be cheap too. Also ecost.com has some great deals on laptops all the time.
Are we talking about the same dell here that gave my uncle a new laptop because he had accidental coverage and spilled coffee and fried his computer? All within 48 hours?
I dunno. I wish I had support like that! I had problems like crazy. It might've been the luck of the draw, but I had something wrong with my laptop so they told me to ship it. I shipped it to them because there was something wrong, and they shipped it back still broken. I asked them what was wrong and they're like "nothing is wrong" so I went to cyber Xpress and they fixed it... cost me $60 bucks, so I'll never support Dell again. And thank God Toshiba came to the rescue cause I bought a laptop from them and all was well.
