Aweber's been around for a long time, definitely reliable - though I prefer GetResponse, another viable option.

Well, I have used many responders over the years, and my original choice was Get Response.. I really don't have any particular reason for preferring it, other than it was the first one I got used to (or one of the first).

Overall, both are decent choices, and reliable providers.

I haven't bought the product yet and have already had some bad experiences with them. when I signed up for a free trial, the confirmation email when straight to the yahoo spam!!! I also got this kind of answer when I contacted them:
    I doubt it!!
it is cristal clear, how can you clarify more

I don't knwo if this is true. I would also add that they support multiple languages and aweber only guarantees English!

I also asked them the following question

What are the changes I need to make to my forum registration page to automate the export of information from it to your database.

    Here is their answer:

I think they are really bad a technical issues, the most important skill for a support person.

There are some free autoresponders out there that put ads in the emails.

But it can't be GetResponse, because no one is going to pay $20/month for a service that has ads in it.

The only major drawback I see in aweber is that it only supports English.

I am a newby here, but I have been using Aweber for about 6 months now & I think they are the best auto responder around. I have not had any problems with them & their deliverability rate is great! As far as, " do they have their own ads on the emails that get sent out", I have received several emails from Guru`s that use Aweber to send me promotions & I can honestly say that there are never any other ads in the emails. The main reason I know that they are using Aweber is the fact that a lot of them use Aweber tracking links (which brings me to the one thing, & only one thing that I don`t like about Aweber) & that is their UGLY tracking links.

I would suggest using another way of tracking, but other than that, I think Aweber is the best!
