Looks like Apple's way of smoke screening planned obsolesence with slick design maybe backfiring. http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/07/30/apple-hit-by-lawsuit-over-iphone-batteries/ Apple may not be suseptable to viruses like Microsoft but it is starting to look like the core may have already been rotten.
Sheesh. A new cell phone battery for most models costs $40-$50 anyways. If you're willing to shell out $600 for a phone, don't complain when the battery also costs twice what a normal cell phone battery does as well.
It's the fact that you have to send the phone out and the process erases all of your info on the phone the makes it bad.
Anything with enough users will eventually get viruses, Apple has been very fortunate so far but I believe they will have some trouble in the future.
