Probably because it's most-likely a load of hogwash the size of Montana (or Texas).

It's all just text, so that is not a valid argument against.

No, but it may look that way...

Though, as for whether or not Google cares, I can not tell, and really I don't care...as it seems what google thinks can change at a moments notice. So it's really anyone's guess.

Personally I think they assign page importance via darts.

At least they're not using the Dartboard of Death. (TM)

Contact Forms and Privacy Policies develop trust between a site and its users. This is far more important than any potential SEO benefit.

    Quick question,
If your contact page uses SSL can googlebot et al read the content of that page?

We need to look from the visitor's perspective and make the website as much a pleasure for them as possible, as it is they in the end who makes a difference in your balance sheet.

So go ahead and have your contact details on all the pages as possible.

Thank you for saying it is the end user and not the SE's we need to cater too.

If anyone is worried about duplicate content, then give a paragraph or two about the individual site (like a mini-about page) and follow that with the actual contact info. That should give each page enough uniqueness to keep it out of the filters... but even then, is having your contact page in supplemental really going to be an issue?

I dont' know if Google likes contact info but Yahoo's Diretory(paid) requires it to be on your site if you want to get your listing approved.

Suplimental Results are nothing to be worried about. Over a period of time and with your ongoing SEO (on-page & off-page) you can have your suplimental pages included in the main index database of Google.
