This is a mail member of another forum d received from AdSense. Now I haven't seen before they talk this nice to anyone except premium publishers about invalid clicks.

" It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on
the Google ads on your site(s). In the future, we may adjust your
payment for any days during which invalid clicks occurred in order to
properly credit advertisers for any invalid activity.

As a reminder, any method of generating invalid clicks is strictly
prohibited. Invalid clicks include but are not limited to any clicks
that are generated through the use of robots, automated clicking tools,
manual clicks by a publisher on the publisher's own web pages, or a
publisher encouraging others to click on his ads.

Publishers may not provide incentives of any kind to encourage or
require users to click on the ads, due to the potential for inflation
of advertiser costs. If we find your account to be in violation again,
action may be taken against your account and payment may be withheld.
Please be sure to review and remain in compliance with our Terms and
Conditions and program policies: .... "

Maybe after all they has started think from publishers side too.

I think if it is not large activity, they may warn you first...

Ive had a email like this from them before, i was asking people to click the google ads because all money i received from the clicks was being donated to a leukemia fund set up in memory of a friend who just died of it.

if only google where more understanding about my account this time

I was click bombed and received a similar email two months ago. It also ended with "we hope to have a long lasting relationship".

I think it depends on if you do something wrong or it is done to you. Google can figure out most times if you are trying to scam them or not and those are the ones that Google is not that nice to.

Maybe Google has realised that some people are being banned even though they are genuinely not dooing click fraud and rather getting click bombed.

This is a pretty standard email from Google. I've read that a lot of people get warned also in the past time.

A friend of mine got a similar one too. It's a bit hit and miss, depending on who it is.

I'm a good boy, I've yet to recieve one though :)

After much complaints from several webmasters, I think Google has decided to provide a standard email, such as this, and a buffer period of time to see if the invalid clicks do continue... if not, they may as well take similar actions.

dont believe on such mails, i dont think it has any connection with GBD (Google's Banning Department), there are many people banned after recieving this mail.

But if they simply warn and reduct money came from invalid clicks from the account it would be something better than directly kicking out a publisher without asking questions. If this works that way its a really nice move from Googles side.
If the publisher is innocent it would give him time to sort things out.

It doesn't happen in most cases. they shoot you first before ask questions and most of the time they don't ask questions at all.
