confirmed... godaddy is $1.99.... then you have to pay extra for the privacy. Anyone know a good way to get around having to pay this? Or somewhere that has the lowest price after privacy added?

I have noticed hosting companies offering free domains with hosting packages too... any comments?

they were 99$ at Mydomain.com but I'm not sure if they still are, I tried buying one just now, but it seemed like there is a bug in the system or something, when I tried to put an info domain, by cart went empty.

If you have paypal, and it is verified, and + you have cash inside it, you can do the job yourself. Go to any domain site who accepts paypal (godaddy probably) and buy it.

I wouldnt recommend that myself. People like me are very cruel. Things can get backordered as i pay the cash and it comes from my account So it might be loss to you. (offcourse i dont do it, but thats how i am making you understand).

I would rather recommend you to take it from namecheap for 2.99 rather than godaddy. namecheap does accept unveried account.
