    ...and this came into my mind;

    How do blind people dream/ what do people born blind dream about?

    Thought a lot but couldn't find a good answer. What you think guys?

    What? I think they do it just like we do?
    They have eyes, and still have "rapid eye movement" (REM) when they sleep.
    The process of dreaming takes place in the brain by the way, I dont think its connected to seeing.

    As far as i know, born blind people do not dream images as we do, people who turned blind after born see it for a while and after a couple of years it disappears for them too. Not sure though, just recall something like that.

    Dreaming is the subjective experience of imaginary images, sounds/voices, words, thoughts or sensations during sleep, usually involuntarily. The scientific discipline of dream research is oneirology. Dreaming is associated with rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, a lighter form of sleep that occurs during the later portion of the sleep cycle, characterized by rapid horizontal eye movements, stimulation of the pons, increased respiratory and heart rate, and temporary paralysis of the body. It can also occur in other phases of sleep, though this is less common. Hypnogogia, which occurs spontaneously during the approach to deep sleep, is thought to be related to dreaming.

    I found this write-up on dreams on Wikipedia.
    You can check out this link if you want to read the whole article.

    It's quite enriching.:)

    They probably dream same thing we dream about. I don't know. I don't think they are blind in their dreams and brain. They can picture things in their brains just not see them in real life. I would imagine their dreams are normal, but I don't know. I don't know how I would live if I became blind or deaf.

    Yes that's the only way to find out, even though I don't think I have it in me to ask a blind person that kind of question.
