100 visitors a day isn't too hard for new blog

First you need to write a few posts first without bothering about visitors. let's say 10 - 20 decent posts.

Go to Mybloglog.com and blogcatalog.com
Visit other people's blog and leave comment in their profiles there. Make sure you network with active users only.

Then go to www.stumbleupon.com and start participating in stumble exchanges in the Freebies forum.

Go to www.blogcarnival.com and start submitting your posts to as many related carnivals as you can.

Do this consistently.

There is a forum where you can easily link exchange with other webmasters
or you can contact me personally.
You can also go for paid advertisement of your site. This will help your new site to gain more popularity.
You can use Traffic Exchangers, if you are in real hurry to reach 100 mark. With them you can reach even 1000s but I don't prefer it.
Post some real good articles and submit them to social bookmarking sites.

Best way to do it with blogs is be active within the blogging community, comment and trackback to blog posts with your site name, sooner or later they will drop you a visit and build it from there

 

Thanks Angela, that's what I did to my own blog. Result may vary depending on your topic niche.
I forget to add that I also visited other bloggers in the same niche with me (You'll find TONS in Mybloglog and BlogCatalog). Then leave comment on their blogs, don't spam though. Do this consistently everyday, not just one day. By doing this other bloggers will notice you and hopefully their readers will visit to your blog too.

I dont see any adsense ads on there? The other problem is the posts on there are aimed at webmasters and webmasters rarely click on ads.

 

Do link exchange with high pr site,write original content,got some free ads,or just exchange banner with other sites,this might be helpful to you question

build backlinks free from directory's and exchange links, you should get searches in no time

 

putting your site under your signature here is good way to promote. afterall, DP is really a big family.
