I think if owner of MSN want to sell it,
google must be the number 1 candidate to buy it.

do you think they are willing to sell MSN because they have Live.com.

I cannot see them selling MSN to their competitor. MSN cannot be up for sale.

If it is I'll start the bidding at $5.

If Google was smart they would buy MSN, then pawn it off...... I'm not a fan of MSN at all. I've got a rather large forum that does great on Google, Yahoo, Ask and so on. But MSN just doesnt seem to like it at all for some reason.

Google might by out the mobile phone industry as well! Google, and Verizon in a way, confirmed what we always suspected: the mobile advertising market will be immensely profitable and just as far-reaching. Couple that with Google's secretive phone work. The company is ready to take advantage of the mobile ad field.

Google wants its software on more cellphones for the opportunity to present lucrative mobile ads, but the wireless companies have issues with Google's business terms.
    whats next???????

Yahoo! is Google's closest competitor; I think Microsoft comes in 4th after AOL for search engines.
But to answer the original question, they're two different companies by very different people!
