Hopefully I be able to hit a PR5 from 0. Was doing really well, but kind of slack off for June and July, and that hurts me alot.

One reason this may be dragging on is if they're (google) running a lot of trials to determine the overall effect on rankings using variations of their algorithm. I'd rather they make the adjustments before they attach a pagerank to my sites for 3 months then get slammed with a lower ranking due to an overreaction on their part.

    Dear Google,
Take your time Mr. Google God, we're not trying to rush you. Just please be generous when you finally issue your verdict as we're just hard working Googbies trying to survive in Googleland.
    Thank you,
    Googbie

nothing, nada, zip on a mass basis. I have seen some of my subpages fluctuate a bit (some links subpages of mine got PR assigned) but nothing serious as of yet. Hoping something will happen soon. I'm not a PR freak, I'm more interested inmy SERPS, but seeing that little green bar move does still excite me.

They update pagerank all the time, we only see the update 4 times a year.

An "attached pagerank" would not effect your SERPs.

I just figured out why Google is taking so long to rollout the update!!!

They're letting the hundreds of thousands of posts about the 'Google update' build up their backlink count! :)

Sorry, bad joke, but I couldn't resist. Please don't red me.

Is the backlink update actually finished?

I am not seeing changes on many sites,

I would think I would at least see that before the update

I just saw some PageRank History and highest number of days between 2 updates were 122 days (Oct 19/2005 to Feb 18/2006). And its been 92 days already since last update (July 30th 2007). If we go as per the history of longest period between updates we might need to wait for another 30 days.

If its another 30 days, that means snapshot has recently happened or is around the corner. People who claim snapshot has happened have no evidence of it.

Its just a speculation of whats possible.

    Regards
