I want to purchase some royalty free video clips and than make a video which is going to be present on YouTube and Myspacetv.

Is better to purchase video in mpeg or QuickTime Placer format?

Some videos are in size of 320x180 and 640x360 so not like youtube format which is 320x240. Is any difference in quality if I suit 320x180 to 320x240 or suit 640x360 to 320x240? Which one size is better to suit or is it about the same?

    tnx

Enlarging the clips will result in noticeable image degradation, so go for the largest clips you can get and reduce them.

so better to reduce width if I want to keep everything inside and don't want to cut anything, right?

Go for mpeg, usually better quality.

Widescreen would look better then the normal 320x240... Go for the largest size they have, then re-encode it to a smaller video size, or upload it onto you tube.
