Quite simple, I hate being ignored and more than that I hate being scammed.
You have been actively selling things on this forum, and yet ignoring my past mails.

    This is the original thread:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=402698

Here you can see what she said:

    5 days late.
No mails other than one saying she's waiting for her business partner.

All I can say is from someone with nearly 100 iTrader, so much reputation, its EXTREMELY disappointing.
Scammed by someone like that is just amazing. I didn't think it could be true, lol.

Well here you have it Jerlene, its never been in my intentions to make this public, hope this is what you wanted.

That's not good that she did not inform you of the circumstances and updates about this issue, but then again, i'm sure she has a reasonable explanation and will return you the 150$.
Hope everything will settle as it should.

I think you are over reacting.. big deal if she is couple of days late... She sells her signature at more then 160 dollars a month.. You think she will have a problem paying your 150 dollars back... Give her a break..

I really hate this borrowing and loans from other members thing! Seriously, I think this should stop.

It's better if you just give a job to a member and let him earn the money rather than you thinking of earning from a loan. That's the safest way of helping other members.

Anyway, I hope you CashinX learned from this.

    I disagree.
She gave a deadline, gotta stick to it.
5 days later are way too much to wait, even worse without responding to all emails.
I've loaned money too and i would be really pissed off if the other part won't pay back in the date we agreed.

Hope you manage to get your money back Cashinx, good luck

Take it as a lesson for the future.
Don't lend money to people you don't know or 'assume' they are reputable and so on.
Never have i thought about asking for loans in this forum from people, IF i really needed the money. There are other ways to get it.

Try to contact her again and hope for the best.Even if she do not reply then its better to contact MOD and ask him to open the thread(ur deal url).Let the thread bump so that everyone knows why it is risky to offer loan even to reputed members.

I dont think she want u to do this as she has some good reputation here.

You can build your reputation without risking losing your money.
She will probably pay you back, anyway.

Isn't she online right now? I'm certain that she will get to this thread shortly, with a legible explanation at hand.

In that case, CashinX, I'm sorry for your loss! :( I'm in the hopes that you paid via a credit-card and can attempt a chargeback; otherwise a PayPal dispute may be in line with this case. Before you go through this hassle, however, just be a bit more patient and see if she replies.

Thought I saw my name. Anyway, like I said in the PM I sent you immediately after I returned back to DP, the money isn't under my control. My business partners need to fill my PP and right now I'm short by about $69. They were supposed to pay me on the 23rd so I thought for sure all of it would be in there by the 25th but one of my partners stiffed me. Im working on giving you your money back. I said I would give it to you as soon as they give it to me and I will.

    She.

I gave him an explanation in the one PM that I sent him.

Yeah, I'm selling all these things to pay you back without having to wait for my business partners.

Jerlene, if there is money in your PayPal account, why not give it to CashinX now and pay off the remainder when you have it?

I wouldn't be too worried about Jerlene running off with your money though. I've dealt with her before and it was an extremely smooth transaction - $125 is too little to be risking the kind of reputation she has, especially with the high iTrader, rep and amount of posts.

I'm not paying it now mostly because of the fees he'd get. I wouldn't mind/care if he wanted partial now though.

Just for general knowledge, the amount of rep and the amount of posts has nothing to do with trades.
iTrader is the only valid thing that counts as somewhat a measurement of trust.

I just thought that by publicly posting this I'd draw some more attention to the matter, and maybe she'd try just a little bit harder on it.

A couple of days late isn't what I agreed to.
Upon giving her the loan I was promised the money back ON the 25th of this month. Not before, not after. ON.

    Thank you.

I agree, and as I said would never ask for a loan. And hey, I did learn something.

I'm not worried about the money, when I get the money I get the money.
I wouldn't have minded if I'd have at least been given a status update.

Its just the being taken advantage of and ignored that I dislike.

I understand what you're saying, but the amount of posts & rep she has makes the account valuable. Money can be easily made through selling off signature/avatar/location spots.

I suppose the point I'm trying to make is that the account isn't worth risking for the sake of an extra $125.
