This is the first article I'm posting on my web directory, wanted to get some input from all you veteran directory owners...

Please let me know if I'm off base on anything... Thanks!

I like what I have read although it seems a little brief.

Its not that complicated or involved. To get seen on the search engines a webmater has got to figure out the search strings visitors are going to use to find his site. This in my mind is the most dfficult part. Next you start link building and you should start with the free directories. Then once started you dont stop. Thereafter and only once you have got to know a bit about this market you can start buying links. But stay away from PR. Its expensive and serves no purpose other than to make the site look pretty.

Thanks! I was never very long winded...

I guess it's a good sign that no one's calling the article stupid yet :)

    Thanks guys!

I was sure that I'd get tons of "that sucks; you don't know squat about directories"... So far none; thanks!

It's short, too short for an article.
    But, nicely done :).

Well I guess its a little too brief but still serves the purpose.

You might like to add few examples that would help understanding.
