I have been watching dp for a while now and have noticed every time some one bids on there own websites on the bid directory everybody is very quick to post and call them for doing so. however i recently noticed that this directory has bids on his own site and nobody has even posted about him until now this site webdirectorylist.com is owned by a dp member wont name names yet i notice on this page webdirectorylist.com/Bid-Directories/ he has 2 $60 bids on his own websites is this not QBC as you keep calling people who do this
I placed those bids before I owned the site. When I bought the site, I transferred all bids over exactly as they were from the previous owner to my custom script.
This is not the way; first thing to do was contact the owner first! Ask The question before posting blame on anyone. Thanks Brian
Wow, 3 posts & wading into an accusation... Do you not realise that anyone can bid on a link in a bid directory? Perhaps you should have read the 3rd paragraph of my ezine article first.
man, coming in here and attacking one of the top members and esteemed directory owner. Not the best way in handling it!
Well, you've made a good start haven't you, are you here to learn and help or just to make unwarranted accusations.
do you not think you should remove them now as people have to out bid the directories owner to place higher deebee - thats irrelevant overdrive - who cares you should never be scared of posting just in case you upset a big boy well guess what im bigboy too all 9inch of it
No, I don't. I paid for them just like everyone else did to the previous owner. If I had removed all listings, I don't think it would have been fair for me to add them in, but I didn't think it was fair for people who submitted to loose their investment from the domain ownership change. So, I manually entered each listing into the new site, taking time to fix them, rewrite most descriptions, etc.
There are lots of people who add bids of their own site from start - to populate and its not a new thing.. And in case of Mystikmedia - he haven't did that too. That were genuine bids before buying the site.
I am quite offended to see you trying to make Chris, probably one of the best 3 directory owners i know, part of the quickbuckcrew. When you see what he has achived, you would realise you have no right, or no proof to write about a guy like that. Mouse moves towards the red rep button.
There you go. avoid all of the others to address your smurf account. Just sign in with your normal account instead of a smurf.
Trust is most important for my projects. I want people to know they can be confident in their investments, and I always work to ensure this. I don't hold it against you for asking. You could have contacted me privately to learn the situation, but it's okay. I appreciate others who have posted with their comments also.
he could have searched this forum for "trusted directory owners" and found you were in the top 10 of the directory owners list....
Funny thread. Someone calling mysticmedia a QBC, its just funny. On the serious side, I remember mystic media clearly explaining his own purchases that were made before he took over the site.
and its not like he's even in the top ten on that directory 'it was worth getting a red and having a point taken away for giving a bad rep"
i remember as well that he noted that his bids were there before when he announced it..To come in here and make accusations seems to be the norm nowadays without checking facts
