Need help from someone around Queens, NY

Do you live anywhere around Queens ? I am a Indian and i have a friend there who needs help. He requires a rented room for living. He is new to the area. He will probably live long term. He is unable to find a good room for rent. Rent could be around 500$ per month. Let me know by PM if you can help my friend by arranging him or trying to get him a room in your locality somewhere in Queens. Its urgent.

Has he tried http://newyork.craigslist.org ? There are listings there OR he could post there requesting a place.

 

Hmm....... not a hard and fast 500$ . Lets say 500 - 1000$ will also do

 

damn, $1000 a month rent for a room? thats expensive.

 

I dont think he will be able to find a decent apartment even @ $1000/month in queens. I am not very sure but i think ahkip lives in queens you can try PMing him for some idea of city. If you need a good apartment here in Houston i can get you one for under $500 Houston Rocks

That's why I said $500 would be difficult to find I know housing in NY is REALLY high.. Even I'm paying over $500 and I'm in Canada
