Text position change resulted in traffic loss?

    Hi there,

Recently I changed the position of the text on many pages and after that I noticed that I lost almost 50% traffic from Google.

Can anyone tell me please when I suppose to get the traffic on the same pace after I have changed the position of the text on many pages.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Best Regards

May be Google had difficulties in accessing your pages or it may be just normal serp changes!

Google doesn't really like major layout/template changes, expecially on older established sites, but the rankings usually recover after a few weeks. Experienced this penomenon several times, although there could be other reasons as well...just wait and see.

Yeah, Google just took a look and went "huh? This can't be right" and slapped you on the wrist (wrongly I might add). However, if you remember that you're in this for the long haul (and not in it to make a quick buck), Google will realize the error in its way and will start ranking your site normally again.

(Yes, I wrote this in plain conversational language for a reason - no jargon, save for the use of the word jargon. :p)

Relax. It's a hiccup, nothing more. Are you really in this for the long haul, or are you chasing after the next SEO "trick" like a lawyer chasing ambulances looking for a quick buck? If it's the former, don't worry about it. You'll be fine.
