I just signed up for a cj account. I am curious to know, how much you guys make from it ? Please post your last month income.
= Commission Donation If you are new to this business... You may have a hard time earning much with them. Try targeting/finding some more niche affiliates for the products/industry you are in... You might have more success. Good luck!
I personally think that it is not about an affiliate account being a CJ, LS, DoubleClick, Performics or any other one... It is much more about how the merchants you promote (within this or that affiliate network) fit into your own website, and thereby interest (or not) your target audience... hence, convert or do not convert. That said, my last month's income from a CJ account was a $500+ one. Geno
I really not believe people posting that they earn 10s of 1000s so be proud of your 45. It only depends how much effort you put to generate them.
It is true that earning at least $45 in an industry this competitive is a good start. But why do you not believe that post they earn "10s of 1000s", Mihai? I personally filter such claims thru quite a bit too, but I wonder what your reasons are. Geno
I think some people arround here are just posting to increase their post number, reason why I tend to filter pretty much all information 3 times before believing. Also I don't think that somebody who made his site earn 10s of 1000s per month would still need the knowledge that can be found on such forums like this. Its a bit of paranoia maybe but I doubt such claims when I see them. (nothing personal for sure)
This is very close to my thinking. It's not that I do not think they would not post at such forums as this one, but rather: they would much less brag about it... I personally know people that make 1 mln+ as affiliates, but they are some of the most modest and behaved people I know... I don't see any anything you've said can be applied to me personally. I am an affiliate manager that also does a bit of affiliate work for programs run by merchants not associated with me. I enjoy learning how it is to be on the affiliate side of the game. And of course, it is good to make a penny here and there along the way... My main source of income, however, is not promoting merchants through affiliate links (read: not being an affiliate), but managing merchants' affiliate programs (read: being an affiliate manager). Geno PS: Your name sounds Romanian. I have some Romanian blood in my veins too (not much, but still).
I agree with your point of view, still, I will keep my minor sence of "paranoia" at least for the beginning. Maybe it still hard for me to imagine earning 10s of 1000s per month when at the most I only had about 5000 in 30 days. Anyway, this country economy allows me to live decently and to grow my team's standards using that. Thank you for your infos. I like the way you think as described by your above post. Can we maybe discuss more some time on Yahoo Messenger or so ? (yes, I am romanian)
