That's getting harder to do in these United States. Thank goodness we limit presidents to two terms.

The problem is that Hillary will be as bad as Bush, not as stupid but she will be equally as bad mate. :(

I cannot see a way out of this corruption mate.

Here's a post of mine from March trying to explain to some of these nutters why we are in the fix we're in now:

You know, you say you're some 50 year old.. But your behavior around these parts is like a frustrated teen-ager who thinks calling people name will prove his point and shut others up...

Obviously I love discussion with you only when you do not call names to the people.. but name calling only shows immaturity..

    Classic...
So terrorism is now exciting.. ohh ofcourse blowing up people is always exciting...
You agree that terrorism is exciting and fun time???

No. I personally think the invasion into Iraq was too slow. It gave too much time to the enemy to defend themselves, making it harder for us to invade.

Maybe Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11, but I myself heard many times on news that American troops killed many terrorist organizations in Iraq, so I'm pretty sure that the war wasn't totally unsuccessful.

Katy, have you ever heard of how many terrorist groups (according to you) were formed because of Iraq invasion?

I'm saying what I've heard from my local news. I believe those jerks don't need a reason to start a new terrorist organization, they do it cos they think it's fun.

Its highly arguable issue Maldives.. Its known that Terrorists were there, killing and torturing people, in Iraq and Afghanistan long before the invasion. The only thing Invasion did was giving them spaces in news headlines.

At a cost of 1,000,000,000,000 dollars, 3,600 dead soldiers, high number of handicapped and with total loss of military prestige since it proved that U.S. military can not even control a small country like Iraq, it seems obvious that it was totally unsuccessful.

Your response will most likely be the same as after people showed you that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, "No matter how many times you show that I am wrong. I am still right".

Thank your "god" you're not in a position of power!

And how anyone could go along with that train of thought after all this time is beyond me.

Agreed to a point, but it's simply not worth the money and death that has ensued. Besides, America has its own terrorist groups to deal with at home. Even if the American cause were noble (it's not), what right do they have to spread their influence around the world when they live in one of the most maligned societies in existence? Seriously, make sure you're own people have health care, make reparations for slavery, cure the terrorists ills in places like Los Angeles and Mississippi...the list goes on and on. Slaughtering Iraqi women and children is the last thing they should be spending their time on.

As I understand it, you're from Finland? It truly scares me when I speak with pro-Americans from abroad; I hate the reminder that their negative influence has spread so far :(

Terrorists are everywhere, not just Iraq & Afghanistan. And no the invasion gave more to the Terrorists than just news headlines, it served as a recruitment drive for them too which is exactly what they wanted.

You could almost say that the U.S. & Co. played into their hands rightly.
