How to create my forum?

    Hi to all
    I want to build my own forum, and also i have seen amny forums, they are all like each others, sometiems the differences are less than 1%!!!!
    so i guess they all use a same basic code (a php one), and just edit the essentials. so may i ask to profies which code is used? or where can i find it for free? or even if it is possible to find it?

    you can use a free "phpBB" forum script. I am sure you must have heard of it.

    THe most popular one out there is vbulletin script which digitalpoint uses, but it costs $$ . phpBB is free.

    They should, but you will need access to edit the templates or be able to install addons/hacks/mods/etc and likely both.

    you can start with using phpbb or smf forum softwares. both are free to use

    I like phpBB3 and myBB the best of the free ones.

    SMF (Simple Machines) is very good too.

    Most webhosting companies have 1 click installs for phpBB2 and SMF
