Fake pagerank?

    Can somebody explain to me what "fake pagerank is"?

    Just wondering because it says:
    "Red for fake pagerank"
    on digpagerank.com

    Do any of you have fake pagerank? I don't, I just want to make sure I don't ever get fake pagerank.

    I think it is where you redirect a domain to a website like google until it picks up the pr and then you stop redirecting to google and put your own content up.

    fake pagerank is when a site is showing Pagerank that doesn't really belong to it.....domain A has PR3 and domain B has PR0. If you do a 301 redirect on domain A and let it point to domain B... domain B will show a pagerank of 3 that doesn't really belong to it..

    I hope that helped...let me know if it didn't so I can come up with a better way of saying it..

    If you are selling a site it will last long enough if you can get a pr0 site to pr4 by black SEO then who cares after you sell it.

    you cant have a fake pagerank unless you manually did it yourself or bought a domain w/ fake pr. you can also check it in google if a site has a fake pagerank.
    info:www.site.com
    if it shows a different site, then its fake.
