To help slow down the "Link Sales" forum

    This is just an idea...

The Buy/Sell/Trade -> Link Sales thread moves extremely quickly. Right now, for instance, there is a post that is 2 hours and 4 minutes old that has already been pushed to page 2...

    Just an idea...

    Buy/Sell/Trade -> Link Sales -> For Sale
Buy/Sell/Trade -> Link Sales -> Want To Buy

    Just an idea...

That is a pretty good idea, it would be more efficient and people who do link sales would definitely have more sales.

VERY good idea! As strictly a buyer, I don't give a crap about what other buyers "WTB." Those threads just get in the way.

    Again, GREAT idea!

(Don't hold your breath that it will happen any time soon, if at all. The spelling error in the main menu is still there, and first pointed that out about 2 weeks ago.)

I like this idea. I wanted that a long time ago but it really isn't that hard to use the search function.

We have too many users and the bumps make it little bit hard to track the new ones.

It is a good idea to sub-divide.

I would be for it aswell.
It's a good idea to simplify the process of buying and selling.
Hope this gets updated, doubt it though :(

Another thing to slow it down would be a "Sponsor Theme" forum that would cut down %25 of threads.

How about sig links for sale threads? There are actually not so many sponsor threads now, there used to be more.

Yea that would actually be a better idea people don't really buy sig links anymore yet I see hundreds of those threads.

    this is a good idea,
only serious members start threads about buying or selling.

    Unfortunately.
It would be better for both buyers and sellers to have it separated. It's easier to find what your looking for...

I agree as well, it moves so fast it depends on luck for you to get a sale.

Yup, I agree too, but the trouble is that the WTB are really low compared to the sale threads, we could probably split it up as Signature sales/Sitewide link sales/Single page link sales etc?

Guess there's no limit to asking! ;)

It would be harder to regulate what people do then just to split up the forums...

    Exactly!

What's the downside to having a more precise layout? There are a lot of posters here, and some of these forums move quickly... It would help people find what they want...

I'd be for it, and the fact that it does keep getting brought up should actually be a sign that maybe it is something needed.

However, I think that bumping those older threads would likely do more help then just starting new ones.

When I look in the BST forum I search for the phrase [WTB] and it filters out a LOT of the chaff, though much is also overlooked with this method. If the two were separated it would certainly help me...
