I see a lot of people complaining on this forum that their sites are not indexed by google after months of going live. Well, I just launched a new site (the fourth link in my signature lolDawgs) Wednesday evening. It's a blog, and it was indexed by Google in under 24 hours. I'd like to share a few tips and tricks for getting your site indexed fast. This is not the first site I've had indexed that quickly, in fact, every blog or site I launch, or launch for a client has been indexed in 24-48 hours. Here's the tips: #1 ) Use RSS syndication and add your RSS feed to Feedburner. #2 ) Submit a story from your blog to Netscape #3 ) Submit your site to Technorati and learn to tag your posts. #4 ) Submit your blog to BlogCatalog and MyBlogLog #5 ) Digg (or have someone else) Digg a post from your site #6 ) Submit your site to Stumbleupon #7 ) Post your link into the "Reviews" folder here at DigitalPoint #8 ) Add yor site to the Google Webmasters Console Things to avoid: #1 ) Bulk directory submissions such as "submit express" - you will only end up with an inbox full of span you'll never get rid of #2 ) Don't spam your site to things like Adlandpro or craigslist #3 ) Don't spam other peoples blogs or forums ***Please note: if you're running a spammy site with crap content or a doorway page to an affiliate program, forget about these tips. PS. If this post helps you, please give me some "rep" - thanks
Nice tips. They apply for most sites and if you get links from site that is spidered by google alot site shows up fast.
mine site too.2 DAys after geting the domain. saying in G index that the page is under cunstruction... where did google find out???
Glad if the tips are/were helpful to any of you out there. One other thing. Don't worry so much what your Pagerank shows on the toolbar, beside getting indexed, backlinks are the next most important thing. I'm currently working on a new article for my blog about getting backlinks honestly without cheating or breaking Google's SEO rules. White Hat SEO all the way !!!! Follow the rules and you will be rewarded !!!!
Two more things I forgot to add to the list is Squidoo.com and Flickr.com which are two more social networking sites that can really turn you some traffic as well as help get your page indexed. Watch my blog for my next post on using both of those services for SEO purposes.
I only added it there now lol , could that be the reason i never get higher than PR 0 huhu , i was wondering since we know sometimes google won't give u a good PR only because you bought a good PR backlinks.
