phpld mod for listing rating and commenting

    are there any mod for visitors to rate a listing and give comments on the listed site?

    I dont know, but i was thinking of creating one for phpLB. So long as it doesnt get full of spam, that is.

    I guess directories are supposed to provide useful sites to end users, so if the users can read reviews of the site it makes them more likely to visit or not visit the site.

    Hey, there was a thread talking about a new comment system for phpLD.

    You can probably do a search here on DP and find it. I was viewing the phpLD forums and can give you this link for a comments system (no ratings though I think) The mod itself is free, but to use it I think you need to purchase a akismet spam key.

    Its used to filter out any spam related junk for the comment text...so similar to filtering out your blog comments for spam. :)
