Could you tell me where in the Koran it says that? because i know that it is prohibited ,small or large quantities: "O ye who believe! Strong drink and games of chance and idols and divining arrows are only an infamy of Satan's handiwork. Leave it aside in order that ye may succeed. Satan seeketh only to cast among you enmity and hatred by means of strong drink and games of chance, and to turn you from remembrance of Allah and from (His) worship. Will ye then have done?" By the way i got another Question to ask you guys instead of posting a new thread cause it's almost as same as this thread. most people ask the question : If theres a god , who created god then ? well my question is : If god is the nature , who created Nature ?
If you don't believe in god, who created the universe. If the universe created by itself, what was there before, how long was it there? These are mind boggling questions.
How did a bird evolve to fly? Did a create just start jumping off of cliffs and dying enough times to where it somehow started to develop wings?
I read the first link but didnt read the second as it explains how birds fly and thats irrelevant. It basically says that birds evolved from dinosaur birds - but this however doesnt answer much... Let's make it simpler than that for you. The evolution of birds is the same in certain comparison with the evolution of the humans. We are humans, they are birds. We have arms, they have wings. Hard to understand ? Now ask me how was the human being evolved to not walk like a monkey...
Flight is a complex process and certainly doesnt happen by accident - you can talk to the Wright brothers about that one. But according to the research you gave me, one theory says that millions of years ago there was a "big bang of birds" and one day a certain creature somehow developed the ability to fly.

It is very difficult to envisage that the universe with its complexities was not created by a superintellect, but then if there is a God, why do we have so much of injustice and repression? truly perplexing!
Because God gave us a choice. He gave us a life with freedoms. It is like law in a democratic country. We are free to do what we want (break the law) but we then have to face the consequences (prison).

I think people get too skeptical..and at times narrow minded..these type of questions are not just those normal types like what should i do to be succesffull etc.. these must be considered after much understanding and broad mind...even Islam asks correctly practising Muslims to respect other religions.. Its a shame how media distorts the peaceful image..Its finally a personal decision, i dont believe in forcing others to believe something which they dont. I personally believe in Allah.
