Seems like a nice opportunity for someone living in the area. £25K plus bonus isn't to bad to start with. Although the job description outlines the need for someone very experienced, which would really demand a higher salary.

Good Luck with your search. :)

This looks like a job opportunity for local people. Also 25k / year considering full time and the experience level required is not bad but not good either, could be better.

Do you really need someone full time, could you not just hire a SEO firm local to you, I can recommend one if you need a local company in the Dorset area.

Employing someone on £25k is going to cost you something like £35k once you take in to account recruitment fees, training, taxes, expenses, pension & NI.

If you spent the same £25K on an experienced SEO company you would find you could gain some impressive results, without being responsible for all the other expenses that an employee can cause you.

No I am not offering my services, I just think that you will get a good SEO full time for £25k, about a week ago I saw a similar position advertised in Wiltshire and they were offering £40k+.

PS anyone tempted by this offer I can fully recommend living & working in Bournemouth it is a beautiful part of the country, although the beaches are a little quiet this year due to the weather.

If you outsource, give me a shout, I'm based in North devon, much nicer beaches than Dorset though and much better surf so I wouldn't be tempted by a move!

Wimborne hey, its certainly a nice part of the country. Personally i'm not a big fan of Bournemouth, buy hey each to their own.

For the record i believe the job in Wiltshire (Salisbury) was £20 - 40k based on experience....

I see your current SEO is very keen on a network of cross linked sites? Using urls with multiple hyphens....

I looked them up and saw that too....it also includes spamming forums for link exchanges.....

the salary looks too low for someone with the experience they are seeking

Keep in mind this is 25k GBP per month - and not USD. It's roughly double the exchange value of USD - so in terms of USD, that's roughly $50,000 per year. With bonuses, that's not bad. :)
