It looks promising. I am hoping to see more soon since I am unable to see it yet (besides the little image). Thanks for the heads-up.
I am sure they are in the Trail and error stages of it now, once they get feed back on how it is doing they will alter it to work best.
If they are trying to be like Google, the first thing would be to open their network to international publishers, or at least Canadian publishers. It's still hard to believe they haven't done so yet...
Any one else ? Ah .. i just googled in google images for "new yahoo search results" It looks like someone posted something about this with a large screen capture from May 3rd. Interesting?!
As far as ripping off google, who gives a rats butt. The one interesting thing I see is, it appears more user friendly. Which is a far cry from their existing spam-a-lot search page..... nothing like finding your natural search results through a tiny window, sheesh. Maybe they're taking a hint that people don't want all that junk in the way, and just want honest good results. I'd say kudo's... but time will tell.
I don't think that its really fair to say anyone copies google. Google doesn't even style their sites really. If you use any html editor you will noticed that the plain default non styled theme is just like google's. Boring, dull and plain. So if this is yahoo's page then they probably just haven't applied its style yet to save on resources in the testing phase.
Ive seen that before If yahoo would only do more things like google maybe they would start making some real money
Except that sometimes people can copy others and make money from it. Microsoft is a perfect example. They released IE after Netscape, they copied Apple's UI on the Mac for Windows. And if they can't copy someone they have enough money to buy them out. Don't get me wrong, I think innovation is the way to go, but in real life copying can and will be rewarded.
Hi, Really new innovation, we give warm welcome to new initiate. But it looks pretty and recurring of google.
