Do Azoogle accept blackhat sites (i.e. more or less autogenerated content) or are they just as strict and angry as AdSense?
I dont think you will get it in writing "we accept blackhat sites" IMO I would just go with it until told not to ... course you have to use your head on that one as to what exactly blackhat means
Have you ever heard of Quadzilla? No such thing as blackhat........ Google made that word up, and US seo's are fighting back not acknowledging the meaning anymore
if u are thinking of Keyword stuffing, meta tag stuffing, doorway pages, hidden keywords, or link spams.. those are not Black hat Anymore.. Those are called Green Hat as in Green Horn Idiots .. If you are thinking of scrapper sites.. or those auto generated sites... That is what most affiliate marketers use even today.. The level of auto generation might be different though.. Corrected spellings and grammar, somewhat unique(d) content..some other pages other than the landing page, site map, good links blah blah
seems as though you almost got to do some black hat to make money off of affiliates and PPC. i mean in my own experience i have made 20 or 30$ in a month off of legitimate banner ad affiliates but it wasnt until i started using a bit of deception when i started making in the low thousands per month. i guess you can call it blackhat. ...oh by the way my sites are very low traffic so that explains why the legitimate methods are low conversions.
How are the Azoogle commissions? Is anyone making any decent money from promoting them? I always see their ads in Revenue magazine but haven't given them a try yet.
Actually I disagree with you.. depending... You can't really do just standard cookie cutter "here is what everyone else does" whitehat stuff. I mean you can but your not going to see huge returns on it. If you get aggressive, think outside the box, blackhat, or whatever you want to call it... in that gray area is where the really big money can be made. I think its the definition of "blackhat" that has people all mixed up. In my background I know blackhat as a good thing. I was on a blackhat security team for one of the largest banks in the world years ago and our job was to find holes in the system. They also had whitehat teams of people who worked 9-5 and did standard stuff but they never found half the stuff us blackhats did @3am
I hear what your saying Shoe. I agree 100%, being cookie cutter is not going to make it. But I think there is plenty of room outside the box, and still be "white hat". I do well by working my ass off, and I'm pretty sure nothing I do would be called BH. There is just a ton of money to be made in niches that aren't on anyones radar and aren't the lastest trend. Even established niches, if you can out think everyone else. That's how I roll.
I have found with Azoogle that basically, as long as you work within their terms of service and within the rules of the vendor that you are advertising - they pretty much let you do your thing....and if they see you are making money - the good reps will jump in and help you with even better offers and incentives. Michael
YEa i agree... there are ways to make money and tons of it. .... I think biggest issue is there is no real definition or black hat... as somethigns considered black hat a few years ago SE's use to weight sites etc... so I look at it as being cutting edge and pushing the limits or thinking outside the box will get you to the big money. Even more of the beauty is white hat grey hat black hat or no hat at all you can make money online the key is doing what works for you!
Sonic I admire your strong stance and assume that you make a good income doing it white hat way or "the honest" way. my experiences have been all about testing, testing, testing! I tried some things that didnt work, then tweaked it and saw a little bit of gaiin, then tweaked it abit more and saw more gain etc... I know for a fact that there are alot of us in here that have secrets that are exclusive to our selves and no one else is doing. black hat or not, if it works and you are not getting banned or in trouble then it must be ok, right?
who are the good reps? i dont want to tell you the name of my rep but if you name the good ones then I can see if my rep is on the list.
